Full Service Elk Boarding

• By boarding, you could easily invest in Rocky Mountain Elk, without all the daily care and work.
• Coteau Springs Ranch could take full care of your Elks daily needs at our facilities.
• For boarded cows, we can manage your complete breeding program for you, by offering service to our own select breeding bulls or through Artificial Insemination. With care including the cows calving time.
• There is no need for expensive land, buildings, or fencing.
• There is no need to make hay or haul other feed to put in storage.
• There is no need to add stress to the animals by having to move to another location.
• You could set up a reservation at our Hunters Haven Lodge, to stay and visit your Elk, if you wish. And if your stay is in the fall, enjoy some of our local waterfowl and upland game hunting while you are here.

Prices and Terms for Boarding:

• Calves up to 6 months of age, no charge (if with boarded cow).
• All Elk 6 months & older $50/per head per month.
• Boarding includes quality care, grain, hay, minerals, deworming twice a year, TB testing every 2 years of Anniversary Dates.
• Also includes all individual Elk records kept and updated by Coteau Springs Elk Ranch, unless otherwise agreed between owner & Coteau Springs Elk Ranch.
• All other expenses are owners responsibility.
• Leasing contracts will be written up with both parties signature.
• Agreement form available upon request.
• Elk boarding contracts for absentee owners are for 5 years with renewal there after, at the discretion of Coteau Springs Elk Ranch owner(s).
• We require owners to carry liability insurance on their Elk. And to protect your investment, we recommend insurance coverage for the value of the animal(s) boarded.
